Golden Sunset

still love sunsets & saltwater 

Little fact about me.

I have never been on a surf board. 

I have lived in Redondo Beach for 18+ years,

born and raised a mile from the beach

but never surfed or even tried.

But then there is Taylor

only lived in Redondo Beach the last few months 

and has gained new skills right and left 

surfing is only one of many

Taylor owns a wetsuit now

and has been borrowing the heck out of our friend's surf board

(only because I won't let him buy one right now)

He insisted on going to watch the sunset in the water one night

all by himself

There was no one in the water, swim or surf or boat for miles

It was cold and windy

(who else would go surfing besides an out-of-towner?)

But it was a beautiful golden evening

^^ I know this is out of focus and terrible but I love it ^^

I just love him

and his growing love for my hometown

while I have a growing ache for his hometown
