Cherries and fires

Yesterday was fun.
My flight was delayed 8 hours
(but hour by hour)
and that was just the beginning of the problems
joy
I really liked airports
and people
and airlines
and planes yesterday

I didn't even get to finish all my blogs before I left to CA
so now I am trying to get some in before NY tonight
but either way I have just accepted
I won't be caught up for a while
but that is okay because it means
I am busy and having fun :)

So this is from a few weeks ago:
Just down the street from where we are staying
is the one of Taylor's uncle's orchards
(where Taylor works some days)
so I get to ride the quad or the truck over
and join him on the tractor or bring him lunch every once in a while

(bytheway, dear amazing photographer friends,
Don't judge my photos! I don't edit them,
I just take what I can
and learn as I go)
 the orchard is gorgeous
and so full of cherries right now
 these are tart cherries,
not the kind you typically eat,
more likely used for concentrate or in pies
 that's my husband :)
he's a mouth-breather

One night we had a little fire
just the two of us
We made the most delicious tin foil dinners either of us have ever had
oh poo, blogging makes me miss him
 mmmm!
so dinner was goooooood
and then we made dessert :)
we put biscuits on a stick
 then rolled it in butter,
sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon
they were heavenly
