The guy sitting right... THERE

Tuesday was the first day of classes and the first devotional of the semester. My first experience in the new BYU-Idaho Center with THE MOST creative name ever for a building on a BYU campus.
I am sitting with my friend Kelsey (who I know from my OSSO adventure) trying to prepare for devotional when I notice my old Home Teacher walk in the row in front of me and aaalllmooosstt say hi.
He sits over to the left. Later, I notice that his companion was there too.
The companion was the one who was a little interesting with every possible interaction he could have with me. I was RS President and he was the over the Priesthood Quorum I was partnered with in the Fall sooo not only was he SO SURE to be my home teacher but he was determined to make sure we met up.
Anyways...I am trying to avoid being noticed while listening to devotional when I see some movement and confusion coming from the left.
Knowing all he did to get my attention and go the extra mile (cheesy thumbs up) before, I prayed that he was not passing a note.
But, of course, he was.
I see a folded piece of paper with MY name on it headed towards me with his big smiling face in the distance waiting for my reaction.
I open it after disturbing the whole world during President Clark's devotional:
wow.
Now, wasn't that so important!? I fold it up, put it away,
and whisper to my friend the plan of escape IMMEDIATELY following amen.
I resorted to jumping over the seats in order to get out because he went out of HIS way to try and bump into me after. I speed walk out while my friend catching up says, "He saw you hop the chairs, he's close behind. Don't look back."
DODGED!

Got to love my life.
